About Us
Stavely Minerals Limited (Stavely Minerals) (ASX: SVY) is an Australian mineral exploration company focused on discovering and developing the energy metals essential for a low-carbon future. The Company is exploring for:
- Copper, gold and silver at the Stavely and Ararat Projects in western Victoria
- Nickel, copper and cobalt at the Hawkstone Project in west Kimberley, in northern Western Australia.
In September 2019, Stavely Minerals made a breakthrough discovery at the Thursday’s Gossan prospect (RL2017):
- Shallow, high‑grade, structurally controlled copper‑gold‑silver mineralisation – the Cayley Lode
- The mineralisation style exhibits strong geological similarities to world‑class deposits such as Butte (Montana) and Magma (Arizona)
- This discovery has become a cornerstone of the Company’s exploration success in the Stavely Arc
In March 2026, the Company announced an updated Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) for the Thursday’s Gossan Project (Thursday’s Gossan & Carroll’s Copper Deposits):
60Mt at 0.58% CuEq (including metallurgical recovery adjusted gold and silver credits) comprised of 0.46% Cu, 0.09g/t Au and 2.8g/t Ag (Table 1)
- Containing 280,000t of copper, 170,000oz of gold and 5.4Moz of silver
- 58% of the copper, 63% of the gold and 63% of the silver contained metal are in the higher-confidence Indicated Resource category.
The Carroll’s Copper deposit was not updated and the MRE in the table below is from the 2022 estimation.

- Blocks reported inside March 2026 MRE optimised pit (US$7/lb copper, US$6,000/oz gold and US$80/oz silver).
- Reported at copper equivalent (CuEq) cut-off grades of 0.2% for open pit material and 0.7% for underground material. The CuEq equations are Cu + (Au x 0.482) + (Ag x 0.015) for the material in the transitional zone and/or chalcocite blanket; and Cu + (Au x 0.872) + (Ag x 0.014) for primary mineralisation. The CuEq calculations assume 83%, 32% and 77% recoveries in the transition/chalcocite material for Cu, Au and Ag respectively and 86%, 60% and 73% recovery in the primary material for Cu, Au and Ag respectively. No oxide material is reported. All reporting excludes the ‘XClay Fault’ and ‘Late Mineral Dacite’ lithologies
- The underground component is restricted to domains 61 and 87 greater than 30 m below the optimised pit shell.
- The Mineral Resources are reported on a 100% ownership basis.
- Totals may include minor computational discrepancies due to rounding.
Stavely Minerals current strategy in west Kimberly is to:
- Complete a Scoping Study for copper, gold and silver production from the Thursday’s Gossan and the high-grade Cayley Lode.
- Test for other high-grade structurally controlled copper-gold-silver-mineralisation in the vicinity of the Cayley Lode.
The Hawkstone Project covers more than 600 km2 of highly prospective Proterozoic stratigraphy in the west Kimberley. Stavely Minerals is targeting Nova-style magmatic Ni-Cu sulphide mineralisation, analogous to the mineralisation intersected at the Merlin and more recently discovered Dogleg Prospects on adjacent tenements held by Buxton Resources/IGO joint venture.
The Merlin and Dogleg Prospects host high‑grade massive nickel sulphide mineralisation within the Ruins Dolerite.
- These discoveries lie approximately 1 km and 13 km respectively along strike to the northwest of the Hawkstone Project.
- The Hawkstone tenure contains ~30 km of easterly strike continuation of the Ruins Dolerite, providing a substantial and under‑explored corridor for additional magmatic sulphide mineralisation.
Stavely Minerals current strategy in west Kimberly is to:
- Discover high- tenor magmatic- style nickel sulphide mineralisation within the Ruins Dolerite.
