Stavely to Evaluate Heap Leach Potential at Fairview as Drilling Confirms Thick Zones of Shallow Gold

July 21, 2017

Drilling intersects good widths of medium-grade mineralisation within broader low-grade intervals, confirming mineralisation geometry and opens up heap leach potential

  • Results received from recent drilling at the Fairview North gold prospect, western Victoria, return good intervals of shallow gold mineralisation including:
    • 17m at 1.23 g/t gold from 23m drill depth within a larger low-grade interval of:
      • 57m at 0.57 g/t gold from surface
    • 16m at 1.04 g/t gold from 6m drill depth within a larger low-grade interval of:
      • 68m at 0.42 g/t gold from surface
  • Additional intervals of gold mineralisation include:
    • 6m at 1.65 g/t gold from 53m drill depth
    • 4m at 1.70 g/t gold from 5m drill depth, and
    • 1m at 6.70 g/t gold from 76m drill depth
  • The results appear to confirm the orientation of structurally-controlled gold mineralisation at the Fairview North gold prospect
  • The potential for low-cost heap leach gold production is now being investigated with metallurgical testwork
